Minecraft Dungeons

Staff pick

The standard Minecraft experience often has players crawling through caves on an adventure, but Minecraft Dungeons is a totally different take on the classic game. Minecraft Dungeons is a dungeon crawler that features no building or crafting, and will instead have players exploring various randomly-generated dungeons and battling the many monsters that appear in them in the hopes of finding treasure.

What are you playing?

May is a bit of a slow month when it comes to video game releases, and considering April’s huge batch of incredible releases and the current state of the world, it’s not surprising to see this month once again have a lighter group of releases. However, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some great games releasing, as Star Wars Episode 1: Racer will undoubtedly give players a great sense of nostalgia alongside the high-octance racing that it promises to deliver.

Elsewhere, the highly anticipated Minecraft Dungeons is also releasing this month, giving players a brand new way to experience the world of Minecraft. Introducing Diablo-style dungeons into a world like Minecraft’s is a risky move, but everything released from the game seems to point toward it being something that players of all ages will want to get their hands on. We’re also due for another remaster this month, when Saints Row: The Third – Remastered drops at the end of the month. The original game was widely praised at the time of its launch, so the remastered version should see a whole new audience of fans get to experience one of the more zany and chaotic franchises in games.

Of course, if you want something completely new, there are quite a few other games coming out this month and there is plenty to be excited about.
